I need your help!

As a third grade teacher, I am always looking for awesome sites to help my students learn.  We are very fortunate to have a SMARTboard in our classroom and a couple computers that we can use to help us become 21st century learners.  We also have access to a computer lab once a week to try out new sites.  As a class, we love the sites that help us learn by playing games.  I would like to collect a extensive list of sites that can be used in my classroom.  I need sites in all subjects!!!

One of our favorites sites that we have access to is Study Island.  I have access to this site through the school system in which I work for.  As a teacher, I love this site because of the academic learning features and subjects that it offers my students and allows them to retry until they master the topic.  My students love this site because of the game mode option.  This option allows students to complete questions and then choose a game to play.  This is an extra incentive to help them succeed.

So if you have found or used any sites in the past that really help third graders learn in the past, please share them!

  1. Hi Ashley!
I know teaching third grade multiplication can become redundant. www.multiplication.com has a great deal of interactive games in which students can practice their mastery of multiplication!

  2. I haven't used the Game feature of Studyisland.com. I need to make sure my kids take advantage of this cool feature. Thanks for sharing.

  3. Ashley my sister-in-law showed me this really cool website called Flocabulary. It has awesome (trendy) rap songs to teach muliplication tables. My favorite is Mulitply with zero. Check it out.

  4. I was just introduced to Study Island today. It is a really neat program. I teach first grade and I now see how I can use it in my classroom as a progress monitoring tool and remediation tool.
